Oil & Filter Changes

An oil and filter change is the cheapest job on the maintenance schedule and the most expensive one to skip. Oil does not simply wear out. The additive package in it depletes on a calendar whether the car is driven or not, and the detergents that hold soot in suspension get used up. Once they are gone the soot goes somewhere else, and that somewhere is the bearing surfaces.

We change engine oil and the oil filter to your manufacturer's specification, not just to a viscosity. Most modern engines call for an oil carrying a named approval, and two oils can both read 5W-30 with only one of them meeting it. The air filter and the cabin filter are changed on the same visit where they are due, and the approval is on your invoice so you can check it.
